I need a new remote. I think some of you guys use the steel braided lines insteasd of the coil lines. I was just wondering if there's an advantage to using them
I also notice that some of you guys use covers for your lines. Is that so they don't tangke of get caught on branches and stuff?

I've got one you can try out, it's a coil type. No cover though..... I'll have to look but I have a braided hose that you can try also. ;D

So you're saying that the braided ones are the way to go?
Any particular one you like?

I think Cartman and I both have the 32degrees brand ones...Action Village has a few for sale in their remotes section. The problem is that they all use those damn slidechecks to attach the remote to the marker. I hate those things and all I see is you guys replacing orings and having problems with them. I would suggest either running it direct to the marker or getting a pro connect like me...everyone wants to be like me www.a5og.net/product-reviews/1596-pro-line-pro-connect-adapter-quick-disconnect.html

32 degrees - 42 inch braided steel w/cover looks good to me.
I might have to go with a slide check though. I'd love to have a pro-connect adapter like the one that you posted but I can't find them anywhere. Do you remember where you got yours?

I also notice that some of you guys use covers for your lines. Is that so they don't tangke of get caught on branches and stuff? For alot of people the covers also server the purpose of keeping the coil line clean. I HATE having to clean it when I get home after a day of play and if you have a cover you can just take it off and throw it in the washer with all the other paint covered stuff. I keep putting off getting a cover for my remotes, but this is the MAIN reason I plan to get one.
