Mean while back at the lab Ok, so I started the process of getting this thing up and tossing nerf rockets ;D So far the hardest part is removing the excess material inside of the T fitting. So the barrel can slide back and forth. In my Macgyver(ness) I've taken Wilsons t ball bat and wrapped a sheet of sandpaper around it. It might take awhile, but its working That is till I go back to the hardware store. The sprinkler valve seems to work with a couple of 9 volt batteries. Now I just need to test it with some air pressure

I used on for the collar on my breach load launcher and it worked great. Took me about 10 minutes.......... Just and idea.

Next time I'm at the hardware store I'll look for one I just need one that has a long shank that'll reach down into the t-fitting. Either that or I'll get a half/round file. I put a large drill into my drillpress and use the side of it to trim aolt of pvc out ot the inside of the T. I need to get some heavier grit sandpaper all I have is 120 and above. I'm thinking that a heavier grit will help alot!

$1.85 sanding drum and 15 minutes on my drill press, woohooo So now I have the barrel sliding freely through the support ;D Now if I can just get the air/trigger/battery, ect ect figured out

Did anyone else notice that Tarps is his happiest when he's in his Laboratory making stuff like Nerf launchers or artificial life or whatever?
